A Full House |
Description: |
CP 372 sits on the main with CSX power (very rare for the Paynesville Sub) as 490 pull up on the pass with a nice set of Dual Flag SD40-2's for power. Another train is shown with no crew on one of the yard tracks. |

CP 372 |

I've never gotten this shot with CSX power in almost five years of coming down to Northtown. Nothing special, but just interesting and really proof of how rare CSX power is on the Paynesville Sub. The WC transfer is shown in the background with a pair of EMD's which will have to wait for 372 to clear before proceeding to Humboldt. |

CP 372 |

Since the re-crew took place later than anticipated at Humboldt, all of my morning shots had dissapeared forcing me to go to the classic spot where the tracks head pretty much due-south for a short time coming out of the tunnel. And after a short wait the lovely C40-8 pokes out from under the shadows as it nears Pigs Eye. |
