The next day I catch the sprayer heading back from which it came. Yet, 35 years ago it was at this same place being delivered to the Seaboard Coast Line. I will never know why time seems to rush by so fast, but after taking this shot I just stood back and watched this soldier head out of town, no doubt my last time seeing it, because this will also soon be the past.(Thanks to Kim Piersol for the photo of SCL 2049 when it was new!) |
