This somewhat boring shot tells the story of a hardcore lease freak. Originally I was at 44th Ave bridge (over BN's Northtown yard) and saw way down near 35th Ave that this train was entering Shoreham. So, the chase was on. A BN Z Train held this train (CP 496) in place long enough for me to arrive nearly 20 blocks away in time for a shot of the ex CNW 878! |

At the time I was used to GCFX's, but of the Gec Alsthom 6000 variety. One from the CSX batch found its way to the WC Transfer along with an AC44, creating my first image of the "other" GCFX's. Luckily in early 2008 the CP picked up the lease so I was fortunate to shoot some more. |
