The L-TWI669 slams the diamond at Granite Falls. The Milwaukee Road was the owner of the tracks to the right, and their searchlight signals still stand today to guard this interlocking. The line is now owned by the TC&W and about 10 minutes before this guy showed up the TC&W 3516 led a train over the diamond, so yes, It is still very much in use. |

What a first day of summer! A consist like this is something that I wouldn't have drempt about in my wildest dreams in todays age, but due to an ethonal train off the CSX (and the fact that they put a Dash 2 as power) earlier in the day, the local was given that power to bring back to Wilmar. Oh, and the locals power isn't bad either! |

An engine that is running out of time on all railroads, the SD40-2. But today I was treated to this rebuilt SD40 in great paint, plus a BN Green SD40-2 along with a repainted and rebuilt BNSF SD45-2(now an SD40-2). Hopefully these types of things can continue to be found. |
